For our valued customer CEVA Logistics we are looking for candidates for two open positions as Business Development Executive in South-East Netherlands, based in Eindhoven.

Function
Overall objectives and responsibilities

You are mainly responsible for acquiring new air & ocean business; maintaining existing business & pro-actively penetrate the existing customer base to grow the relationship within a zip code based territory. You must be able to identify new potential business in line with prospect criteria. You will have to receive and "entertain" guests, both customers and colleagues from other offices. Also part of the job is the responsibility for sharing visit reports of in person calls with the various operational departments and overseas colleagues and pro-actively communicating and supporting on RFQ's with the EMEA or local bid team. In this role you will be retrieving information regarding tariffs via inside sales or product management from carriers, airlines and CEVA offices abroad, file and maintain quotes, proposals and any other relevant customer communication in the CEVA CRM application and hardcopy file.

Your team

As a Business Development Executive you report to the Head of Sales Benelux. You will work in harmony with the Inside Sales Agents located at Schiphol.

Required skills and experience

• Education at HBO/HEAO/university level;
• Over 3 years industry & sales experience;
• Multi model knowledge preferred in ocean, trucking and air;
• Fluency in English both oral and written;
• MS Office skills;
• Excellent communicative skills;
• Preferred background in global organization;
• Pro-active participation in customer event(s).
