supports the companies’ capacity to offer customers one partner to solve their supply chain challenges worldwide with regard to Airfreight, Seafreight and Truck road. The Marine Logistics department has an ship spares and control tower team. The control tower team is dedicated responsible for all activities for one large customer.
The team is based in Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
In this role you are, together with the team, the first point of contact to the customer (a large player in Marine Logistics), your manager, the FF Global network and third parties in regard to information requests, questions and issues for all global activities that FF conducts for the customer. The applicable activities are from different location all around the world. In order to fulfill your job successfully you build strong relationships with the customer, the internal network and suppliers. You respond to questions and requests for information in a proactive, professional and constructive manner. You monitor the progress on all (inbound and outbound activities for the client according to the KPI’s and SOP for this customer and herewith ensure accurate information. In case of any deviations you follow-up proactively. Escalate issues & communicate enhancement suggestions towards your manager. Provide administrative support according to FF and customer specific guidelines such as: timely & correct invoicing of global activities (e-invoicing), intercompany invoicing towards sister offices, timely & correct reporting towards the customer & internal organization. You will back up other colleagues during absence or peak in workload. In this job you report to the Supervisor in the Netherlands.

The candidate
- You have a vocational (MBO) working and thinking level and have at least 2-4 years of relevant export freight forwarding experience.
- You have excellent communication skills in Dutch & English (written & verbal).
- You are an experienced user of one or more IT systems used within the freight
forwarding industry and MS Office applications.
- You are a accurate and pro-active communicator and team player, able to work with a
high-service demanding customer.
